As one of the few industries without any foreign deficit, packaging industry keeps growing with developing new technologies and products with added value. We increase our competitiveness through our exportation numbers that keep growing with each passing day. Export-import results in the first year of 2017 are yet another example for this. We managed to increase our export by %7 in the first year of 2017 when compared to the previous year and realized a total packaging exportation number of 844.916 tons. We decreased our import by 8% in amount and 6% in value and managed to obtain a foreign trade surplus of USD 407 million. As an industry, we should focus on R&D and move towards our 2023 goals. We all will work together to further increase the share of packaging industry has in in the İSO top 500 and second 500 list 2016 upcoming year.”
