Crescents and Stars for Packaging Competition which is traditionally organized by the Turkish Packaging Manufacturers Association (ASD) every two years. The competition is open to packaging products manufactured and launched by both Turkish companies and all other companies abroad.
Subject of Competition:
The subject of the Crescents and Stars for Packaging Competition, which will be organized for the Turkish Packaging Manufacturers Association-ASD, is the packaging mainly manufactured in Turkey. The competition is also open to packaging products manufactured and launched by Turkish companies abroad.
Main Goals of the Competition:
- to promote and strengthen in international markets the corporate identities of the packaging products manufactured in Turkey,

- to offer participants the opportunity to earn their original designs better positions in international markets; and

Packaging is crowned with the Crescents and Stars for Packaging Awards is judged in different product categories that are in harmony with those laid down in the Worldstar Competition organized by WPO-World Packaging Organization. The finalists will also be able to participate in AsiaStar, a competition organized by Asian Packaging Federation (APF).

Asian Packaging Federation-APF & AsiaStar
The APF, a non-profit organization, established in Tokyo, Japan, in 1967, unites the packaging interests of all trade and industries in the Asia-Pacific region and beyond, under one co-operative umbrella. The objective of the federation is to enhance cross country co-operation among all packaging-related bodies, covering a gamut of subjects like training & education, package development, environmental aspects, law and regulations.
