Applications Started to Be a ‘Star' of Packaging

Applications started for 'Crescent and Stars for Packaging' competition that packaging producers, suppliers, packaging designers and brand owners that introduce their products to the market can. Organized by ASD Turkish Packaging Manufacturers Association for the 11 time this year, competitors that rank the highest can apply at WorldStar and AsiaStar Competitions as well. Emphasizing that the competition is very important for development of the industry, Mr. Zeki Sarıbekir, President of ASD said: “Our industry has major targets both domestically and abroad. We want to achieve higher added value for our country.”

Applications started for 'Crescent and Stars for Packaging' competition that is organized by the ASD Turkish Packaging Manufacturers Association for the 11th time this year. The process that started on February 1st will continue until May 31, 2024. Considered one of the most prestigious awards in Türkiye which receives applications also from abroad the 'Crescent and Stars for Packaging' awards genuine packaging designs that make an impact all around the world, unique and innovative packaging applications. Packaging manufacturers, suppliers, packaging designers and brand owners who offers products on the market can apply at the competition in food, beverages, electronic and electrical household appliances, health and cosmetic products, home - automotive - office appliances, equipment and disposables, packaging for other non-food products, pharmaceutical products, industrial and transportation packaging, packaging materials and components, point of sale display, presentation and storage products, flexible packaging, graphic design and luxury packaging categories.

DOOR TO INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIONS

While the packages that rank high in the Crescents and Stars for Packaging Competition will be registered with 'Gold, Silver, Bronze and Competency Awards', a maximum of 3 'Gold Packaging Awards' will be given in cooperation with the Turkish Standards Institution (TSE) among the products that are entitled to receive the 'Gold Award. All participants that rank in the Crescents and Stars for Packaging Competition, which is accredited by the World Packaging Organization (WPO) and the Asian Packaging Federation (APF), can also participate in the WorldStar and AsiaStar Competitions.
