The exhibition, where over 1000 exhibitors participated over a course of 4 days between 20 - 23 October 2021, hosted a total of 70,000 visitors including 12,000 international visitors from 125 countries. The increase in the number of visitors from Germany, USA, France, UK, Israel, Iran, Iraq, Romania, Ukraine, Jordan and Greece was remarkable. While there was an increase over 60% in visitors from Western European countries, qualified buyers from the USA also visited the exhibition. Commenting on the exhibition, Mr. Zeki Sarıbekir, President of ASD said: “The packaging fair brought the sector stakeholders together. Organized for the 26th time this year, our fair has grown 40 times since its initial year and became the biggest Packaging Fair of Eurasia and Europe organized annually. Our exhibition, that increasingly contributes to the sector every year, became a platform where important developments for the future of the sector were brought together with the visitors this year. As the packaging industry, we believe that we will reach our targets of at least 28 billion dollars in market size and 6.5 billion dollars in export income in 2021. By 2030, we have a target of 50 billion dollars for our sector size and 20 billion dollars for exports.”

Fair interaction will continue thanks to the Online Networking Days, which will take place between October 25th and November 5th, 2021 as part of the Business Connect Program series of events. Eurasia Packaging Istanbul International Packaging Industry, which will be organized for the 27th time next year, will take place between October 12th and 15th, 2022.
