International Award to Value Added Design in Packaging

17 projects that were ranked in the 17th National Packaging Design Student Competition organized annually by the ASD Turkish Packaging Manufacturers Association competed in the WorldStar Student, organized annually by the World Packaging Organization (WPO). In the international competition where 300 projects participated, our student from Turkey entered the top three and received the silver award.

17 student projects that were ranked in the 17th National Packaging Design Student Competition organized, annually by ASD Turkish Packaging Manufacturers Association with contribution of the Eurasia Packaging Istanbul Fair and in cooperation with Reed TÜYAP in 2021, competed in the WorldStar Student, organized annually by the World Packaging Organization (WPO). In the international competition where 300 projects participated, our student from Turkey entered the top three and received the silver award.

WorldStar Student has been organized by the World Packaging Organization (WPO) since 2006, open only to the participation of students. The National Packaging Design Student Competition, which is the only competition that allows students from our country to participate in the WorldStar Student Competition, is organized annually by the ASD Turkish Packaging Manufacturers Association with the contribution of Eurasia Packaging Istanbul Fair, and in cooperation with Reed TÜYAP.

OUR YOUNG DESIGNERS MADE US PROUD

Commenting on the result of the competition, Mr. Zeki Sarıbekir, President of ASD said, “I congratulate our student who received an award with a project with high added value in this period when value-added exports are of great importance. We need our youth both as a country and as an industry. Our young people make us proud in these competitions. I congratulate each and every one of our 17 student projects that participated in the competition, which included 300 projects. As the association, we will continue to contribute to our youth and our industry with such competitions.” said.

WorldStar Student 2021 winners will receive their awards at the WordStar Award Ceremony on May 4, 2022, in the scope of the packaging fair in Milan.
