The application for the 15th National Packaging Design Student Competition Started

The students who rank the top three at the 15th National Packaging Design Student Competition 2019 will be granted not only monetary award but also "ASD& TUYAP Scholarship "for 12 months throughout their education life. Other students who become successful at the Competition will be granted various awards and obtain the right to join international competitions.

The countdown for the National Packaging Design Student Competition 2019, which is organized in cooperation with the Turkish Packaging Manufacturers Association (ASD) and Reed TUYAP, organizer of Eurasia Packaging Istanbul Fair, for the fifteenth time this year, has started.

This Competition which is organized every year aims to guide the students getting design education to packaging design in our country, as well.

The competition is open to all students who have been receiving undergraduate and graduate education in the Graphic and Graphic Design, Industrial Products Design or Industrial Design Departments of the Fine Arts and Architecture Faculties of universities. Students from other departments are not allowed to participate in the competition individually; but may join by setting up groups with students studying in Graphic and Graphic Design, Industrial Products Design or Industrial Design Departments. A student may join the Competition for maximum three times.

The Meeting of the panel of jury of the Competition whose last application date is 26 June 2019 will be held on 3 July 2019 and the results will be announced on 8 July 2019. The Award Ceremony of the 15th National Packaging Design Student Competition will be organized during the opening ceremony of Eurasia Packaging Istanbul 2019 Fair that is held for the 25th time this year. in a healthy cooperation with ASD AND Reed TUYAP. The projects of the ranking finalists in the Competition will presented during the Fair to be held between October 23rd and October 26th.

For the last three years, the ranking students were granted scholarship under the title of "ASD& TUYAP Scholarship" for 12 months annually with the purpose of supporting industrial design. "ASD& TUYAP Scholarship” will be granted to the ranking students this year, as well. Also, the top three projects and those granted honourable mention award at the Competition will be given various awards.

The first 5,000 TRY

The second 3,000 TRY

The third 2,000 TRY

3 honorable mention awards (1,000 TRY / mention)

The students who ranked the top three and those granted honourable mention awards and certificates at the National Packaging Design Student Competition, if they want to, can join the WorldStar Student organized by the World Packaging Organization (WPO) and AsiaStar organized by the Asian Packaging Federation (APF) and they will be able to compete again for getting world ranks.
